The Conductive loom brings a great innovation for the textile area, uniting art, technological innovation and sustainability. It is made with conductive wires, silk and cotton. Its main element is the wire wich is produced from an environmental liability, arising from the process of making biodiesel. Boundary

The Boundary is a rug inspired by maps. Rugs are often boring in appearance and functions as only accessories. However, the Boundary of shape is strange, abstract and absolutely asymmetry. The hand drawn topographic patterns are highly symbolic, informative and aesthetic. These patterns are not simply chosen for its beauty or due to personal preferences. Aqua

About his designing style. He said that the moment when you get something is very important to produce something. Many of his works uses natural raw materials - cotton, silk, and wool etc. He often got inspired by a lot of simple images of nature such as bark Trees, layered leaves or seashells on the beach. Then he wants to get closer to the same images in touch and texture reproduced into his works using natural raw materials as much as he can. Also he is keen on using natural materials which should go back to part of the ground eventually.

Lasso

Lasso as a definition is a long rope with a running noose at one end. Instead of being inspired in; this textile is a result of. It has both special touch and aesthetic besides some special frayed channels so the light can pass through very softly. It is half industrial - half crafted, woven in electronic looms and cut by hand. This project is very attractive and addictive as a candy and has been one of the top challenges and discovery on my career as a textile designer. This project is about serendipia, stumbling upon, chance discovery, fortuity and accident.

Bio-inspired fabric

Uniqueness :The textile can coil and uncoil upon human touch, can absorb carbon form from atmosphere based on the features of leaves and artificial photosynthesis and chances of providing water at locations where oxygen is less but exposure to sunlight is possible. Inspiration: memosa-pudica plant (bio-inspiration). Challenge: To deduce features of memosa pudica, artificial photosynthesis and incorporate into textile fabrication. Production : Two methods; First by compression rolling and second by edgebinding. Team Members: Pradeep Yammiyavar & Rajatesh Nath Barbhuiya.
