This silk scarf reinterprets Gyeongbokgung Palace Dancheong patterns by applying stained glass color techniques. The project focuses on the aesthetic transition of traditional colors into seasonal palettes. The patterns are based on the lotus motif and developed in four versions, each reflecting the specific light and color of the seasons over the palace. Produced on silk, the work utilizes digital printing to capture detailed motifs, achieving visual harmony for modern styling.

Four Seasons

Drawing inspiration from the classical water sleeves dances of Shen Yun, this scarf transports people to a tranquil garden stretching from a shimmering koi pond to towering mountain peaks. A maiden graces the scene, her flowing sleeves dancing in the air, with a gentle smile on her face. What sets this design apart is that it is, in its entirety, a single narrative painting, created using digital painting techniques on a tablet in Photoshop over several months. The vision: to let the wearer carry not just an image, but an entire world of feeling into everyday life.
