Formosa Sapphire

Swinhoe's Pheasant is a kind of endemic species in Taiwan. Since Swinhoe's Pheasant is difficult to find, the designer observed the appearance of the animal through photographs and from the book Wild Bird of Taiwan, then drew the beautiful appearance of the animal delicately. Therefore, the designer hopes this product can be a Taiwan souvenir to foreign friends.

Textile Braille

Industrial universal jacquard textile thought as a translator for blind people. This fabric can be read by people with good sight and it is intended for them to help the blind people who are starting to lose sight or having vision problems; in order to learn the braille system with a friendly and common material: fabric. It contains the alphabet, numbers and punctuation marks. No colors are added. It is a product on grey scale as a principle of no light perception. It is a project with social meaning and goes beyond commercial textiles.

Lasso

Lasso as a definition is a long rope with a running noose at one end. Instead of being inspired in; this textile is a result of. It has both special touch and aesthetic besides some special frayed channels so the light can pass through very softly. It is half industrial - half crafted, woven in electronic looms and cut by hand. This project is very attractive and addictive as a candy and has been one of the top challenges and discovery on my career as a textile designer. This project is about serendipia, stumbling upon, chance discovery, fortuity and accident.

Fenc Thermobionic

Fenc Thermobionic is a series of Bionic Knitting fabrics that combine advanced thermoregulation with sustainability to meet the needs of modern consumers. Made from biobased polyester, it upcycles waste wood as an eco friendly alternative to fossil based materials. Inspired by hummingbirds' heat regulating abilities, it mimics the adaptive mechanism to intelligently stabilize body temperature. Pattern design replicates the flow of air from wingbeats and the structural colors of hummingbird feathers, creating a striking and functional fabric that transitions from activity to rest.

It addresses the need for textile closed-loop recycling. Unlike polyester spandex blends, it is a mono material, fully recyclable fabric that reduces waste and environmental impact. The fabric offers 2, 3 times higher power stretch than spandex based fabrics, ensuring comfort and support through eco-friendly production methods. Treated with fluorine free Dwr and bioenzyme softening, it delivers water repellency, stain resistance, soft and skin friendly touch, and antistatic performance. Compliant with Oeko Tex Class 1 standards, it retains over 85 percent of performance even after 50 washes. Lightweight yet protective, and environmentally friendly, the fabric is suitable for both city commuting and outdoor adventures.
