Fenc Thermobionic

Fenc Thermobionic is a series of Bionic Knitting fabrics that combine advanced thermoregulation with sustainability to meet the needs of modern consumers. Made from biobased polyester, it upcycles waste wood as an eco friendly alternative to fossil based materials. Inspired by hummingbirds' heat regulating abilities, it mimics the adaptive mechanism to intelligently stabilize body temperature. Pattern design replicates the flow of air from wingbeats and the structural colors of hummingbird feathers, creating a striking and functional fabric that transitions from activity to rest.

Fenc Loopflex Fabric is an innovative stretch textile designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable materials in the sports and leisure wear market. It addresses the need for textile closed-loop recycling. Unlike polyester spandex blends, it is a mono material, fully recyclable fabric that reduces waste and environmental impact. The fabric offers 2, 3 times higher power stretch than spandex based fabrics, ensuring comfort and support through eco-friendly production methods. Pixel Weave Monalisa

Hana Mitsui reinterprets traditional Japanese tatami weaving through a pixelated Mona Lisa made with Igusa grass. Working with tatami craftspeople, she explores how this time-honored material can engage with present-day visual language. By noticing the visual similarity between tatami’s weave and digital pixel grids, Mitsui developed a method to express subtle tones through tactile, pixel-like forms. The result highlights a quiet dialogue between tradition and modern perspective.Her practice reflects an ongoing interest in translating cultural heritage into new visual expressions.

2023 Revive Collection

This collection of scarves looks optimistically to the future in the midst of epidemic and global conflict. The patterns tell a metaphorical tale of pre and post apocalypse with a story involving cellular experiments, mutation, reflection, reconstruction. The unique patterns are created with the Studio's own digital software, which uses body movement to reconstruct digital data and reveal organic details not possible solely by programming. They are asymmetrical and do not repeat. Hand finished, the patterns are digitally printed onto natural fabric which reproduces the detail of the designs.

Daydreamer

This design differs from other rugs due to its production techniques. The design is produced by combining four special hand weaving techniques. These are: Anatolian Knot Technique, Cicim Weaving Technique, Twill Weaving Technique and Shuttle Traditional Towel Weaving Technique. The combination of Cicim and Twill is already the geographically indicated as Karacakilavuz Weaving Technique. However the addition of Anatolian Knot Technique and Shuttle Traditional Towel Weaving technique made this rug unique. Three craftswomen worked in the production of the Daydreams conceptualized rug.
