Reminiscent

Reinterpreting the fragrance industry, Pallavi Padukone uses textiles as aromatherapy to condense time and distance and create an immersive experience to reconnect with nature, nostalgia, her home, and identity. Reminiscent uses natural ways to integrate and infuse scents into textiles through perfumed pockets and embroidery and embellishment using scent coated cotton yarn and organza silk. At a time when wearing masks is the new normal, her textiles pay tribute to the sensorial experience of smell and its effect on mental and physical wellness.

Exclusive 1015 from Vorwerk is a hard flooring which feels like textile. With its structures and iridescent 3D effects, it amazes the eye. Oriedental

This product is a part of works of Studio of Textile Design in Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. The concept for this scarf is the combination of designer's back ground, Asian culture and Czech one. Digital Print on square silk scarf. The designer got that concept by her surroundings: she is originally from Japan but currently studying textile design in Prague, so this situation made her to get the idea, and she decided to design a scarf that describes herself.

Materializing the Digital

These designs explore how movement can be embodied in our urban garments through the use of programmable materials in response to the digital era. The aim is to analyze the relation between body and movement, through the connection with materials, and their adaptation and reaction to this. Materialization means to assume material form: the emphasis is on reality and perception. To materialize the movement is a path which has not only a conceptual and social goal, but also a functional one. The inspiration came doing a motion capture of our bodies in different sport activities.

The Modern Women

A repetitive screen-print pattern design made for the modern and brave woman. The design is implemented with different color combinations and on different fabrics such as cotton, silk and satin. The prints are for winter collection. The pattern and garments were designed for the strong independent woman who also has a hidden feminine side that she wants to express. The collection was meant to treat the other side in every women. Combining both modern and classic style in one look.
