Somnium is a line of designer t-shirts endeavors fusion of art and technology to create a unique process where illustration design and material design happen simultaneously to convey an interdisciplinary artifact of intricacy. Its outstanding water-repellent and oil-resistant property is realized through a unique manipulation to orderly attach nanoparticles on the fabric’s fiber -more durable and comfortable,versus other water-repellent fabrics in the market have nanoparticles “cross-linked” without order.

Formosa Sapphire

Swinhoe's Pheasant is a kind of endemic species in Taiwan. Since Swinhoe's Pheasant is difficult to find, the designer observed the appearance of the animal through photographs and from the book Wild Bird of Taiwan, then drew the beautiful appearance of the animal delicately. Therefore, the designer hopes this product can be a Taiwan souvenir to foreign friends.

Jungle

Jungle is a mix of various elements that make sense as a whole. SOLO Jungle is a fusion of watercolor paintings on canvas and digital sketches depicted on reused fabrics. We love the idea of reused fabrics as a way to protect nature. The blend of basic watercolor and digital shapes renders a pattern that truly represents the lush, dense aspect of the jungle. Such an intense green effect was obtained through printing, that pantone used SOLO Jungle to sustain their Greenery concept.

Swim

The artist got inspiration from a dream: one day she became a fish, swimming in layers of paper-cut ocean with friends. Then she started to make this dream into reality. Starting by drawing hundreds of two-dimensional abstract Chinese paper cut patterns which contain different blessings and sketching out plentiful postures of fishes. Then the artist drew and re-mixed those elements with creative software by expressing them into a three-dimensional, realistic effect just like oil painting rich in lights and shadows. It’s an attempt of crashing eastern art expression with western.
